We are making bird seed ornaments for Day 4. They have to dry overnight. We will hang them outside once they are finished.
Wir haben Kekse für die Vögel gemacht am 4. Tag gemacht. Wenn sie trocken sind, hängen wir sie nach draußen.
And here are our deviled eggs from Day 3. They were very good.
Und hier sind die gefüllten Eier vom 3. Tag. Sie haben gut geschmeckt.

ReplyDeleteIt is turkey bacon! They were quite good. We also had fresh chives and dill in them. The birdseed ornaments have birdseed, flour, corn syrup, and gelatin in them. I can send you the recipe, if you like. They have to dry overnight. We put some strings through them and now they are ready to hang outside.
DeleteWe sometimes have turkey bacon, and I love deviled eggs. The birdseed ornaments look like they hold up well. Yes, I think I would like you to send the recipe. I could hang them on the dogwood tree in the courtyard. We don't have as many birds now that the Mulberry trees are gone. Maybe if I left food out more often, chickadees and cardinals would return.

DeleteDas sieht ja wieder lecker aus bei Euch! Meine Vogelfutterstation im Garten wird noch gar nicht besucht. Wenn ich bedenke wie viele Vögel unterschiedlichster Arten wir im Garten hatten bevor wir alles weg und neu machen mussten... ich hoffe sie kommen wieder aber sie müssen sich wirklich erst an den ganz veränderten Garten gewöhnen. Ich habe extra jede Menge Meisenknödel geholt. Sieht ja sehr gut aus, die Vogelkerne. Und da ist wieder der Kardinal, oder?
ReplyDeleteOh, die kommen bestimmt bald! Leider kommen bei uns auch Eichhörnchen, die an allem herumnagen. Ja, genau, das Kardinalmännchen. Meisenknödel gibt es hier nicht. Hier gibt es quadratische "cakes" für Vögel.
