- Jonathan and Charlotte took the National German Exam on Tuesday. This exam is similar to the National Latin Exam they took last spring. The results will be posted in February.
- Today, Jonathan had an eye doctor appointment to see if his contact lenses are working right for him. Jonathan has liked them fine, but his eyes get very dry by the end of the day. Today, the doctor gave him a different kind to try for a while.
- Yesterday, Jonathan had to attend a Virtus workshop organized by our diocese. These workshops are mandatory now when you work with children in the Catholic church. It was in the evening, at St. Bonaventure, and he went with another young lady and the director of our religious education program. It was a long workshop, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
- I am afraid, Flora has come down with the same bronchitis as the others. I think I have to take her to our pediatrician tomorrow. The symptoms are exactly the same. Now we just hope we won't have another case of pneumonia. The doctor had told us that it was catching.
- I did take some pictures, but it is way too late to upload them now. I need some sleep :).
- Jonathan und Charlotte haben an der nationalen Deutschprüfung am Dienstag teilgenommen. Die Ergebnisse werden im Februar bekannt gegeben. Diese Prüfung ist so ähnlich wie die Lateinprüfung, die sie letzten Frühling gemacht haben.
- Heute war Jonathan wieder beim Augenarzt, um Bericht über seine Kontaktlinsen zu erstatten. Sie funktionieren gut, doch werden seine Augen im Laufe des Tages immer trockener. So hat der Augenarzt ihm eine andere Sorte mitgegeben, damit er die mal ausprobiert.
- Gestern mußte Jonathan einen Kurs in unserer Diözese besuchen, der für alle, die mit Kindern in der katholischen Kirche arbeiten, verpflichtend ist. Er ist mit der Leiterin unserer Religionsklassen und einer anderen jungen Frau dahin gefahren. Der Kurs war sehr lang, von 18.00 -21.30 Uhr.
- Ich glaube, daß Flora jetzt auch diese schreckliche Bronchitis hat. Sie klingt genauso wie ihre Geschwister. Da werde ich wohl morgen zum Kinderarzt mit ihr fahren müssen. Hoffentlich ist es noch keine Lungenentzündung. Der Arzt hat gesagt, das sei ansteckend.
- Ich habe auch fotografiert, aber heute abend ist es zu spät für Fotos. Der Mensch muß ja auch schlafen.
