I took Flora to the physical therapist. She has tendonitis in one of her feet caused by dancing. This is not the ideal time for such a condition with seven performances coming up. The therapist stretched her foot and spent a long time with her. She got some exercises to do twice a day and we will go back next week for another session. Here she is waiting for the therapist while reading Great Expectations for her online literature class.
Mit Flora war ich bei der Krankengymnastin. Sie hat eine Sehnenentzündung in ihrem Fuß, die vom Tanzen herrührt. Das ist im Moment überhaupt kein guter Augenblick für so eine Verletzung, weil wir bald sieben Nußknackeraufführungen haben. Die Krankengymnastin hat ihren Fuß gestreckt und behandelt. Sie hat sehr viel Zeit mit Flora verbracht. Flora muß jetzt zweimal pro Tag Übungen machen. Nächste Woche haben wir einen weiteren Termin. Während wir im Wartezimmer gewartet haben, hat Flora Große Erwartungen von Dickens für ihren Literaturkurs gelesen.

And now we are waiting for Jonathan, Miriam, and Mary (Miriam's friend) to come home for Thanksgiving. It is supposed to snow in NH and MA, but we hope it will be not too bad and they can drive safely.
Und jetzt warten wir auf Jonathan, Miriam und Mary (eine Freundin von Miriam), die mit uns das amerikanische Erntedankfest feiern wollen. Es soll in New Hampshire and Massachusetts schneien, aber wir hoffen, daß es nicht zu schlimm wird und die Drei gut fahren können.
