  1. Ah lovely weekend photos of different folk in different places 🙂. Jonathan’s coffee photo looks very inviting, Charlotte’s cake looks yummy and so cute that Peter had a furry companion whilst he was reading 🩷. It’s Monday morning here maybe today is the day I will actually write a blog post?!! Dave’s birthday week is worthy of a mention 🎂. However my first task is to slowly get myself sorted so that I can take Ben to a job (a decking refit outside the back door) in Great Ecclestone which is about 20 minutes away. Happy Monday to you xxx

    1. Ah, thanks so much, San! That coffee seems to be all the rave. I had never heard of it. It was so funny: Hadley wanted to sit right next to Peter. Oh, happy birthday to Dave! I will look forward to reading how you celebrated. I looked up Great Eccleston and the old church looked pretty. Did you have to stay while Ben was working? I hope your day went well.

    2. No I didn't have to stop and thank goodness too as he was there for nine hours! He had an issue with his pump and so didn't eat lunch and worked the nine hours straight with no break 🙄. Thankfully he was OK but not the best way to deal with a diabetic issue! I've actually just finished writing a blog post which is way late for me and this is one of the reasons I struggle to update on the blog! Ah well, it was good to stop by and share photos and happenings. I do need to pop by more often as I know it would save me time in the long run 😊. Hope your day has gone well xx

    3. Wow, that is a long time without food for him! It sounds like he is pretty much on top of his diabetes, though! Is the pump broken? Congratulations on finishing the blog post! I will take a look. Without knowing that my dad loves to see what we are doing, I might not post almost daily anymore. Blogging can become a burden when you have more than enough on your plate. So kudos to you!

  2. I agree with San . . nice photos of everyone's activities. Flora's little furry friend is cute, and I've never tried Blue Bottle Coffee, though we have several here in the city. Maybe I'll try it now as Jonthan's coffee looks good :) as does Charlotte's apple cake. Miriam attends many nice outings! Are they arranged by her school?

    1. Thanks, Dorina. Jonathan thinks it is good coffee, though pricey. Yes, Miriam's outings are all part of activities Magdalen offers. The sophomores were making cards and selling them at the harvest celebration this time. It is some kind of fund raiser for their class.

    2. That's so great about the college activities and Miriam seems to enjoy them . . coffee in NYC is pricey everywhere LOL :)

    3. I believe that it is expensive in the city.
