Juneteenth

Veronika and Flora had their orientation for their work as summer camp assistants at the GCV&M today.  It lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Peter drove them to the orientation and Miriam went along because it was Juneteenth at the museum, which offers many interesting events.  Charlotte and I stayed at home and did our Saturday cleaning, but last year we all went.  Peter took the pictures you see here today.

Veronika und Flora hatten heute ein Orientierungstreffen für ihre anstehende Aushilfe bei den Sommerferienlagern im Freilichtmuseum.  Das hat von 9 Uhr bis 13 Uhr gedauert.  Peter hat sie hingefahren und Miriam ist mitgekommen.  Das Museum hat heute Juneteenth gefeiert und dafür gab es viele interessante Veranstaltungen.  Letztes Jahr war ich auch dort, aber heute haben Charlotte und ich das Samstagsputzen übernommen und sind nicht mitgefahren.  Peter hat die Fotos hier gemacht.

Tonight, I have been backing up all my German courses from Fall 2015 to Spring 2018 on Moodle because they will be archived and I won't be able to access them then.  It is a very slow and tedious process!

Heute abend habe ich alle meine Deutschseminar von Herbst 2015 bis Frühjahr 2018 auf Moodle abgespeichert, weil sie archiviert werden und ich dann keinen Zugang mehr dazu habe.  Das Abspeichern ist sehr langsam und lästig.
