We spent our evening putting curlers into Flora's hair for tomorrow's dress rehearsal.
Ready for bed
Gleich geht's ins Bett.
Earlier today, the girls had fun with some more electricity experiments.
You are using the same curlers we always used!
ReplyDeleteWhat was in the cup for the experiment? I love how the balloon floated so gently in the air.
Those are yours! You sent them to us :). The cup has a piece of aluminum foil that is moving in the glass as the balloon, which had static electricity on it, was moved towards the glass. I should have written an explanation, but ran out of time! The other balloon floated because both balloons were charged with static electricity and repelled each other. We charged them by rubbing over Flora's hair.
DeleteOh, that's too funny about the curlers!!! The things we forget!
DeleteFascinating about the balloon, aluminum and static electricity. And I remember charging the balloons by rubbing on a person's hair . . so interesting!
Hmmm . . I'm not sure if my comment went through . . testing now . .
DeleteWell, the comment worked! Yes, I guess curlers are not high on anyone's list to remember :).
