We are done with the Nutcracker for this season. We had two good shows yesterday and today.
Wir sind mit dem Nußknacker fertig! Gestern und heute hatten wir zwei gute Auf-führungen.

Done for the night: We drove home and got there quite late, around 9:30 p.m. Peter dropped us off and kept on driving to Buffalo to pick up Miriam at the airport. Her flight arrived around midnight and the two of them spent the night in a hotel. They came home early this morning and then we drove on to the next performance, which was an afternoon performance (2:00 p.m.)
Nach der Aufführung: Wir sind so gegen 21.30 Uhr wieder zu Hause gewesen, Peter hat uns "rausgeworfen" und ist weiter nach Buffalo gefahren, um Miriam beim Flughafen abzuholen. Ihr Flugzeug ist um Mitternacht gelandet und die beiden haben dann im Hotel in Buffalo übernachtet. Heute morgen waren sie dann früh hier, weil wir weiter zur nächsten Aufführung, die um 2 Uhr stattfand, fahren mußten.
Miriam and I had a bowl of soup at the café: An artist (John Gill) was demonstrating how he makes sculptures.
Miriam und ich haben einen Teller Suppe in einem Café gegessen. Ein Bildhauer (John Gill) hat gezeigt, wie er seine Skulpturen herstellt.

2016: Miriam wore the same dress and was also a party girl. The "boy" next to her is Veronika.
2016: Miriam hat damals dasselbe Kleid getragen und war auch ein Mädchen bei der Weihnachtsfeier. Der "Junge" neben ihr ist Veronika.

Bravo! Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur gelungenen Aufführung! Freut mich dass alles reibungslos funktioniert hat. Tolle Kostüme Deine Mädchen sehen glücklich und zufrieden aus.
ReplyDeleteDanke, danke! Es war schön und auch wenn wir das schon oft gemacht haben, ist es immer wieder ein bißchen anders. Es gab viele neue Kostüme dieses Jahr.
