The library is open again! There are lots of restrictions and we have not been back, but we signed Flora up for their summer reading program. This year, they offer lots of crafts, stories, etc., that have a travel theme. Each week is a different continent. All activities are online, but the library hands out bags with materials, ideas, etc. Also, each child is encouraged to read a certain number of minutes.
Die Bücherei hat wieder auf! Es gibt viele Einschränkungen und wir sind noch nicht wieder dort gewesen, aber wir haben Flora für das Sommerleseprogramm per Email angemeldet. Diese Jahr bieten sie Geschichten, Bastelein usw. an, die das Thema "Reisen" haben. Alle Aktivitäten sind natürlich online, aber die Bücherei verteilt Tüten mit Materialien, mit denen die Kinder zu Hause arbeiten können. Jedes Kind soll natürlich auch jeden Tag etwas lesen.

Das finde ich aber schön, dass die Bücherei ihr Programm weiterhin macht, wenn auch online. Das Buch sieht interessant aus, hat es Flora gefallen?
ReplyDeleteJa, das ist gut, daß es auch so geht. Gestern hat Flora zwei Bilderbücher online gehört und gesehen, heute hat sie für uns ein Rezept aus Peru gemacht. Jeden Tag gibt es etwas Neues zu tun. Das Buch war noch ein wenig schwer, aber es hat ihr gefallen. Wir haben ganz viele aus der Serie. Sie sind besonders interessant, wenn man eine Stadt oder ein Land kennt.
DeleteYour library has the most wonderful books, because they're old! Our library has archived too many of the old books, in order to make room for the newer ones. Since so many are out of print, you can only read them, then, in the library. This looks like a fun program :)
ReplyDeleteYes, they all kept their old books around here, which has been a blessing. And you can check them out without any trouble. Live Ed recommends using this book in their Chemistry booklet :). I love those lectures because you can actually see the experiments.
DeleteIt's wonderful that these lectures are available online. You are so good at finding these resources :) Live Ed also recommends Mark Kurlansky's book _Salt: A World History_ which is also fascinating. Our library had that. (Chanda danced with his daughter in the Nutcracker shows for Dances Patrelle.)
DeleteYes, we checked that one out from the library when Jonathan and Charlotte did this mainlesson. It is a beautiful book.
