Cooling Off/Abkühlung

When the thermometer climbs to 88 and more every day and you cannot keep your thoughts straight, what do you do?  When the only public beach in your area is closed due to Corona, where do you go?  Waterfalls!  We had a cool time (literally) in the Wiscoy Creek Falls today.  Peter could not go along because all week long, he is participating in the seminar on Dietrich von Hildebrand.

Wenn das Thermometer jeden Tag 31 und mehr anzeigt und man keinen klaren Gedanken mehr fassen kann, was macht man dann?  Wenn der einzige öffentliche Strand bei einem See in der Nähe wegen Coronavirus geschlossen ist, was macht man dann?  Man sucht sich einen Wasserfall!  Wir haben uns wunderbar in den Wasserfällen von Wiscoy Creek abgekühlt.  Leider konnte Peter nicht mitkommen, weil er die ganze Woche sein Seminar über Dietrich von Hildebrand macht.  

 Hard to spot, but there are Jonathan and Flora on the right and Miriam and Charlotte in the middle.  Veronika was more towards the left and not in this picture.

Schwierig zu sehen, aber Jonathan und Flora sind hinten rechts, Charlotte und Miriam in der Mitte und Veronika ist nicht auf dem Foto drauf, weil sie links von mir war.

Charlotte hat uns nach Hause gefahren.  Diese Amischkutsche mußte auf uns warten.  Wir hatten Vorfahrt.
