Summer Camp and Repotting of Plants/Ferienlager und Umtopfen

Earth camp helper: Salamander camp

Today was the first day of summer camp for Miriam and Veronika.  They are both helpers this year.  Veronika was just a few days too young to be a helper, but they thought she was mature enough to help out this year.  Miriam is helping with "Farm Kids," the camp Flora did last year.  Veronika is on the lookout for salamanders.

Flora and I repotted about 14 plants today.  Flora und ich haben ca. 14 Zimmerpflanzen umgetopft.

Flora took pictures of the birds that visited us.
Flora hat die uns besuchenden Vögel fotografiert.

  1. Well done to all the girls for helping! We have temporarily lost the sunshine, boo! Your lovely card and scripture treats are much appreciated xx

    1. We have too much sunshine. I am all sunburned.

Miriam had a small accident today. The nurse called me and said a branch/twig hit her in the eye. The nurse rinsed out the eye, but thought Miriam was okay. Miriam insisted on going back to her job (she didn't even want the nurse to call me) and her eye seems to be fine. First they thought that something got stuck in the eye, but it does not seem the case. Veronika got to play in the river today. It was very hot, over 30 degrees.
