There is a storm with 59 mph outside. Half of the county has no electricity, but still do. This is a perfect evening for doing some knitting.
Draußen wütet ein Sturm und die Hälfte des Landkreises hat keinen Strom. Die Böen haben 94 km/h erreicht! Dann kann man sich am besten zum Stricken zusammensetzen.
Flora was already in bed and did not participate.
Flora war schon im Bett und hat deshalb nicht mitgestrickt.
Winter snow storms . . we miss them! We used to get at least one or two each year, but no longer.
ReplyDeleteYes, I remember them from your blog. We are still getting some and Buffalo has gotten quite a few, but Rochester has not. That is very funny, I think.
DeleteYes, that is funny!
DeleteAre Charlotte and Miriam working on a special knitting project?
ReplyDeleteYes, they are knitting squares for a baby blanket for a friend of Miriam's. The baby was actually born almost two months early while they were working on the blanket and the baby's father was in Manchester to pick up Miriam when she arrived so late (he is there all the time to be close to wife and baby; they are still in the hospital).
DeleteThat will be lovely! I wish all the best for the new family xoxo
DeleteThanks so much.
