Rainy Monday/Regen am Montag

In the afternoon, we went downtown to take Flora to the Clear Ear Clinic.  Our pediatrician had found too much ear wax in Flora's ears in the fall, but did not want to remove it because it was too deep in her ear canal.  Jonathan had the same problem when he was younger and we took him to this clinic here in London.  The people at the walk-in clinic in Soho had recommended it.  It is a wonderful place and they offer microsuction for problems like that.  While Flora and I were at the clinic, Veronika and Miriam explored the neighborhood, which turned out to be a bit boring.  Afterwards, we decided to visit Peter, who was working at the Goethe Institut.

Am Montagnachmittag waren wir in der Stadt, um Flora zu der Clear Ear Clinic zu bringen.  Unser Kinderarzt zu Hause hatte im Herbst zu viel Ohrenschmalz bei ihr festgestellt, doch konnte er es nicht entfernen, weil es zu tief war.  Jonathan hatte früher das gleiche Problem und wir waren auch schon mit ihm bei dieser Klinik, nachdem sie uns empfohlen worden war.  Es ist wirklich eine erstaunliche Einrichtung, die die Ohren einfach aussaugen.  Während Flora und ich bei der Klinik waren, haben sich Veronika und Miriam in der Gegend umgesehen, aber es war dort ziemlich langweilig.  Nach der Behandlung sind wir zu Peter ins Goethe Institut gefahren, der dort gearbeitet hat.
