Flora und ich waren heute beim Herbstfest des Colleges. Es war nicht sehr groß, aber wir haben viele Bekannte getroffen und uns lange unterhalten (mit Maske und Abstand).

Immerhin dürft Ihr solche Veranstaltungen weiterhin machen. Es sieht doch schön aus bei dem Fest. Hier wird es bald wieder ganz viele Einschränkungen geben, die Zahlen steigen ganz schnell an. Bonn ist gestern zum Risikogebiet erklärt worden.
ReplyDeleteUnsere Zahlen sind so hoch wie noch nie! Es ist sehr traurig. Einschränkungen sind bisher noch nicht gekommen, aber wir haben sowieso mehr als Deutschland. Mein Bruder wohnt in Bonn!
DeleteHier wird es auch immer mehr, genau wie in allen Ländern. Ich weiß gar nicht mehr, was man noch machen kann und was man lieber lassen soll. Ja, Bonn ist im Moment sehr belastet mit den Fällen.

Chanda is not using a common application. The New School and Borough of Manhattan Community College are each done separately. I was just finishing up several changes and additions to the Course Descriptions. It's been a busy week for me as I went upstate with another friend for Kendall's final court date for her baby's adoption. It was Thursday and I have photos which I'll try and post tomorrow. It was an exciting and happy occasion.
It is very chilly tonight! I'm feeling cold while sitting here and typing and can't wait to get my warm pjs on and crawl into bed. More tomorrow :) Good night.
Yes, we have had a wonderful fall. I wish I could be in bed by that time also, but there is always something to do, even after 11:30 p.m. Normally the "big college children" are in the mood for a chat then.
DeleteI see, I think most colleges do want the Common Application these days. I prefer it actually because I don't have to pay attention to the different formats some colleges want. You still have to do different things for different schools, but at least the format is the same.
It has gotten cold here also, but today was quite warm and tomorrow is supposed to get warmer. Very strange weather we have had.
So nice to hear that the adoption has been finalized. It must be hard to drive so much right now. I am glad when I don't have to drive.
