I was looking for a few books and ventured into my office today. Last time I was in it was in March as you can see from my calendar.
Heute habe ich in meinem Büro ein paar Bücher gesucht. Wenn man sich meinen Kalender ansieht, bemerkt man, daß ich im März zuletzt da war.

ReplyDeleteYes, whenever I want to go to my office now, I have to fill out a health form, send it in to some evaluation agency, get an "okay," and send that "okay" to my chair. Then I may go.
DeleteI'm speechless! It makes sense to have these questions, I just find it odd the way we go about it online. (It's raining here now.)
DeleteYes, these forms are a bit ridiculous when you read them carefully and the whole process is cumbersome. Peter is chair of his department and he has to read these forms every day to make sure nobody marked he or she was sick and is on campus. Can you imagine the hundreds of e-mails he will get? He has to keep them all.
DeleteEmail can take so long. I'm sorry Peter has to deal with so many. It can be very frustrating and time consuming.
DeleteThose e-mails will all say the same: Person X will be allowed onto campus because he or she does not show Coronavirus symptoms. In case somebody is sick, they will say the opposite. So there is not much to read, but you do have to look at them and file them away. You cannot delete them right now, in case there is an outbreak.
