Rabbit/Häschen

A rabbit has joined our birds at the bird feeder.

One of my German students gave his junior recital yesterday.  I took the girls to listen.  The students have to sing in German, English, French, and Italian/Latin.  I only took a picture before the performance.

Oh, and you know you must be in the house of a homeschooling family when you find tuning forks in the bathroom (normally used for physics experiments).  No idea why they were in the bathroom, though!

    6. Jagen Neufundländer nicht gerne? Ich habe keine Ahnung.

  2. I have to laugh at your tuning forks in the bathroom. I would always find tuning forks in the strangest places also.

It's so nice that you can attend your students' concerts with the girls so easily :)

The rabbit is adorable! I hope Julius stays inside where it's warm!

    1. I still don't know who put them there . . . Funny that I am not the only one with stray tuning forks :).

Yes, we just walk over to campus. On Wednesday, a young woman from my class is having her senior recital.

Julius gets completely crazy when it is cold outside. He loves to go out, but hates the cold. He has his routine: When he wakes up in the morning, he wants to go outside. But when he comes back about 10 minutes later, he runs around like a crazy person, almost falling from running so fast through the whole house. He only does this running around when he gets too cold outside.

  3. That's so funny about Julius. I guess it's his way of warming up? Or he is just so happy to be back inside your cozy home! I sometimes warm up by doing jumping jacks if I've been sitting too long reading in one place and get too chilled. Pluto has some funny habits also: he likes to scoot under the covers nose first and sleep there. I don't know how he can breathe.

    1. Maybe, it just looks so bizarre. I think it is his way of showing us that he does not like the cold weather. Funny about Pluto! Jumping Jacks, don't the people downstairs comoplain when you do that?
