I will miss, miss, miss Sunita's Halva when we are back in the U.S. You can buy it here in many grocery stores and it tastes so good! The only ingredients are honey and sesame paste. Most other brands have a much longer list of ingredients and simply don't taste right. Halva von Sunita wird mir in Amerika wirklich fehlen. Es ist nur Honig und Sesam darin und schmeckt so lecker! Halva in den USA hat immer auch Zucker oder Glukososirup als Zutaten. Das kaufe ich nie, weil es nicht richtig schmeckt.
Ein leckerer Grund um mit Freuden in drei Jahren wiederzukommen. :-)

ReplyDeleteWe are back home! We managed with ibuprofen, paracetamol, and antibiotics. Today, Miriam is finally feeling better. Flora had a fever for about four days, but seems to be getting better also. Very strange that London has caused so much tonsillitis! I wonder if it has something to do with pollution.

DeleteWe had a smooth journey, although we almost missed the flight at Heathrow. Veronika (!) had been selected for a random security check of our airplane and that happened 30 minutes before the plane was supposed to be leaving. Also, they had messed up the gluten-free meals. Some of us got a substitute meal with a wheat-kernel salad! However, personel at Heathrow was outstanding and so friendly. The personel at Washington Dulles was quite rude. But we made it safely and were picked up on time. The other professor and his wife and daughter traveled with us. We stopped at a grocery store on the way to buy some food. By the time we were home, we were exhausted.
