On Sunday, we were back at the German church because they had a German choir singing.
Am Sonntag waren wir wieder bei der deutschen Gemeinde, wo ein deutscher Schulchor gesungen hat.
There was soup afterwards and we talked to a German physicist.
Es gab anschließend Suppe und wir haben uns mit einem deutschen Physiker unterhalten.
After church, we went on to the London Museum Docklands, another place we are quite familiar with.

Romeo and Juliet (The Choice): The audience gets to decide if Romeo and Juliet should live or die. The ballet will then perform the ending the audience would like to see.
Romeo and Julia (Die Wahl): Das Publikum darf entscheiden, ob Romeo und Julia leben oder sterben. Die Tänzer führen dann das gewünschte Ende auf.

Your Sunday sounded wonderful and I always love seeing the Docklands photos! Morgana and Korrina have also sent me photos of Docklands in the past. It's everyone's favorite :) How nice for Veronika to be traveling in Wales, in Cardiff, and I really enjoyed seeing Charlotte's rehearsal videos. The third one is nice as you can see her so clearly, but I wasn't sure which dancer she was in the first two. Could you? That's interesting about the Romeo and Juliet "Choice."
ReplyDeleteI like to read about the history of the Docklands. Unfortunately, they are building too many skyscrapers there. Pretty soon, many areas will not get any sunlight anymore. Veronika had a full day sightseeing today. She had saved her babysitting money to go there. She is coming back tomorrow. In the second video, Charlotte is right in the back middle (with the burgundy leotard). In the first one she is wearing the same dress as in the third one. Maybe that will help you to spot her. I could not get those videos to upload in a bigger format. I think the audience is enjoying the option to vote for an ending.
DeleteI can pick her out now. Thanks for the tips. She's such a beautiful dancer. That's so nice Veronika could save and have a little trip to Cardiff. Morgana has been to Cornwall, but I don't think she's been to Cardiff. Unfortunately, we have the same problem with too many tall buildings going up and blocking sunlight, and also not having enough schools and hospitals to support all the new people that come in. The communities always try to stop it or at least have a required and extensive study done. It's difficult.
DeleteThanks so much for the compliment. Morgana has not mentioned Cardiff, so I think she has not visited there. Veronika came back last night and liked her little trip. I think the one in front of the Docklands Museum has been stopped now. They started it several years ago, but they have not added to the foundation. People were very angry that is was supposed to be right in front of the museum. I did not know that NYC has similar problems.
DeleteLol . . yup . . lots of similar problems here I'm sure.
