Eastern Towhee/Rötelgrundammer

We have never had an Eastern towhee on our porch, but today, one ate our birdseed.

Wir haben noch nie eine Rötelgrundammer auf unser Terrasse gehabt, aber heute hat eine unser Vogelfutter gefressen.

    Cool! I have never seen one of those, though their cousins--the spotted towhee--live here in Montana. Very striking birds.

      I had never seen the Eastern towhee either. Have you seen the spotted one or do they just live near you?

      We've seen them lots on trips to the mountains, but only once or twice around the house.
