Flora and Charlotte went to the house of the friendly old lady, who died last year, to get rid of the weed around her house. The house is for sale and they have been asked to take care of the weeds. In the afternoon, Miriam helped Flora with the weeds because Charlotte taught another ballet class.
Flora und Charlotte waren heute vormittag bei der Nachbarin und haben Unkraut gejätet. Sie ist ja letztes Jahr gestorben und das Haus steht zum Verkauf. Die Mädchen haben schon oft mit dem Unkraut geholfen, als unsere Nachbarin noch lebte, und deswegen sind sie wieder gefragt worden, ob sie nicht Unkraut beseitigen könnten. Nachmittags hat Miriam Flora dann geholfen, weil Charlotte eine Ballettklasse unterrichtet hat.

Unkraut ist leider ein Dauerthema, hier auch. Ich habe schon wieder so viele Disteln und die sind so blöd zum wegmachen. Fleißige Kinder hast Du!
ReplyDeleteJa, hier auch, aber Disteln haben wir dieses Jahr nicht viele. Flora hat das meiste gemacht und damit auch ein bißchen Geld verdient!

ReplyDeleteI think they really turned our well. We got them from Walmart and they were not in the greatest shape, but they have recovered. It was just for a week and she did enjoy it. She only had three or four students (it was an advanced class), but she taught them new pieces.

DeleteNot this summer, but maybe next year. Our ballet teacher sent me a nice note, saying that Charlotte was very good with that age group.
