There was a beautiful rainbow a few days ago.

Today, I washed all winter hats, gloves, mittens, and shawls.
Heute habe ich alle Wintermützen, -handschuhe und Schals gewaschen.

Such a beautiful rainbow! I'm washing woolens today and wish I had a nice outdoor laundry line to hang them on! It's very satisfying to have clothes drying in the open air (my rag rug looks much like yours! I sometimes try to weave the loose ends in, but then they come out once again when I vacuum).
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I started on the winter coats, but only got four done so far. Yes, hanging things outside is a very different experience than drying things inside. That rag rug was the only item I did not wash; it had just gotten wet in the bathroom. It does look pretty beaten up. We bought it for Jonathan's dorm at K-Mart in Pennsylvania for his first year. It is not good quality, but cheerful. I don't think I can weave in those strands anymore, they have become too unruly.
