Another hot day with a tornado watch! It is a bit cooler now, but still very humid. The girls had their art show tonight. There were lots of people and lots of pictures by the children. Our teacher has almost 90 students!
Heute war es wieder heiß und es gab die Chance eines Tornados. Jetzt ist es ein bißchen kühler, aber immer noch nicht so angenehm, weil es noch recht schwül ist. Heute abend war die Kunstausstellung von den Mädchen. Viele Leute waren da und viele Bilder aller Kinder, die bei unserer Lehrerin Stunden nehmen. Sie hat fast 90 Kinder!

It is truly amazing what this teacher puts together. And she remembers which child made which picture and also asked how Jonathan was doing. Jonathan used to take art classes with her as well.
Es ist wirklich erstaunlich, was diese Lehrerin so auf die Beine stellt. Sie weiß auch ganz genau, welches Kind welches Bild gemalt hat und hat auch nach Jonathan gefragt, der früher bei ihr Stunden genommen hat.
What a wonderful teacher to remember so much and put together such a lovely exhibit. Your girls are very talented. I love their work. Flora's dog is adorable and has such soulful eyes :) I love Veronika's castle, and Miriam's Van Gogh really moves with so much color.
