We are now entering our last week of rehearsals. The first (Covid modified) Nutcracker performance will happen in a week from now. Today, I drove the girls to their rehearsal and spent some time working in the bookstore in town.
Wir haben die letzte Woche mit Proben erreicht. Die erste (Corona abgewandelte) Nußknackeraufführung ist in einer Woche. Heute habe ich die Mädchen zur Probe gefahren und in dem Buchladen im Ort gearbeitet.
The bookstore looked to be a lovely place to work xx
ReplyDeleteIt is quite nice, but not open very much. The opening hours are very strange. They have some books, toys, some coffee and you sit there on some days when the girls dance. It is unfortunately very cold, though. Sometimes I leave my coat on.
DeleteBrr sorry to read about the cold though! Xx
DeleteThat is a bout 17 degrees, kind of cool for a building.
DeleteThere are so many wrapped gifts! Are they having a toy drive? It looks cozy in the photo, too bad it's not warm enough though.
ReplyDeleteYes, tonight, they were expecting 400 children. They were hosting Santa from 4 until 9 p.m. The heat is set to 63!
DeleteViele viele Buchläden machen zu Weihnachten richtig schöne Fensterdekorationen, hier auch!
ReplyDeleteJa, in Deutschland mehr als hier, würde ich sagen.
Delete400 Children! Oh my goodness . . That's quite a lot.
ReplyDelete63 can feel very chilly!
Must have been the whole village . . .
DeleteEven Peter complained on Saturday while we were reading there about how cold it was.
