Neuer Wanderweg für autistische Kinder im Letchworth Park

We spent a lot of time outside today.  First we had a home ecology class on animal habitats.  We looked at the forest edge habitat, the forest habitat, and the pond habitat.  

Wir waren heute viel draußen.  Wir hatten unsere Naturkundeklasse, wo wir uns mit Lebensräumen beschäftigt haben.  Es ging dabei um die Lebensräume Waldrand, Wald und Teich.

I had made a Greek lentil soup overnight in the slow cooker, which was waiting for us after our walk.

Im Schongarer hatte ich eine griechische Linsensuppe fürs Mittagessen gekocht, die dann fertig war, als wir wieder zu Hause waren.

Most of the afternoon was spent in the yard, raking, mowing the lawn, cutting away dead flowers and pruning shrubs.  

Fast den ganzen Nachmittag haben wir im Garten gearbeitet: Blätter harken, Rasen mähen, tote Blumen abschneiden und Büsche beschneiden.  

This is an annoying neighborhood cat.

Diese Katze läuft hier immer rum, aber sie ist sehr nervig.

Miriam had to work with her elderly couple tonight and Peter had a town zoning board meeting.  

Miriam mußte heute abend bei den alten Leuten arbeiten und Peter hatte eine Sitzung für Bauordungsbestimmungen im Landkreis.
