Veronika did experiments about ocean currents taken from Our Oceans. This was all about warm and cold currents. It shows how the cold water rises and pushes the warm water away.
Veronika hat Experimente zu Meeresströmungen gemacht. Es ging um warme und kühle Strömungen. Im ersten Experiment steigt der kalte Strom nach oben und verdrängt das warme Wasser.
This is the opposite: Now the warm water comes to the surface, replacing the cold water.
Hier verdrängen warme Ströme die kalten.
Flora had fun with discovering sound waves.
Flora hat sich mit Schallwellen vergnügt.
The sound waves move the candle flame.
Die Schallwellen bewegen die Kerzenflamme.
Wir haben mehr Blätter geharkt, ich habe mich nett mit unserem Nachbarn unterhalten, als wir draußen waren, wir sind zu Bücherei und zum Ballett gefahren und am späten Abend waren Miriam und Peter wieder zu Hause. Wir haben auch ein Video zum Fall der Berliner Mauer heute gesehen.

ReplyDeleteReally! I was not even married at that time and when we saw the news on TV, we did not believe it. We thought somebody was joking. We have been having lots of fun with the experiments. Yes, Peter is all over the place, but he came home last night and will stay for a few days. So far, this new team seems to have done better work than the first one. We will find out after the first heavy rain . . .

Yes, I remember it well and that all my friends and I thought it was a bad joke when they showed it on TV. Nobody believed it could be true.
DeleteWe were glad they made it home. They both had a good time. Flora has been enjoying her experiments. She loves to try things out.
Den Film kenne ich noch gar nicht, das ist ja großartig, ich habe mir die Doku angeschaut. Eure Experimente sehen auch wieder ganz interessant aus!
