Shortly after 8:00 a.m., we left this morning to drive to Pennsylvania.

It was a beautiful drive and day, although a bit hot (90 degrees).

Proud parents, although Peter looks a bit sad -- the heat was the culprit, or maybe he just feels old. It looks like our educational journey has had a huge impact on our hair: Peter has lost his and mine has turned grey, but look at our happy and successful firstborn! He did a wonderful job during his time at St. Vincent's.
Stolze Eltern, auch wenn Peter ein wenig traurig aussieht, das lag an der Hitze oder vielleicht kommt er sich jetzt alt vor. Unsere abenteuerliche Reise "Bildung zu Hause" hat uns unsere Haare gekostet: Peter hat keine mehr und meine sind alle grau, aber sieht unser Erstgeborener nicht glücklich aus? Er hat eine sehr erfolgreiche Zeit hier bei St. Vincent College gehabt und viel geleistet.

After Mass, we had a cup of coffee at Coffee Bean Café. The girls had spent their time on campus, trying to cope with the heat.

ReplyDelete:))). Actually, my hair is still quite brown, but in photos it looks all gray. And Peter does cut his very, very short, so it looks like he has none left. We went from snow to basically 30 degrees, very strange for May. I hope you will get some sun and warmth soon. Our furnace had broken down and we had to replace some kind of circuit board. Good it happened now and not in the middle of the cold season.
