No, not at all. I think I would say it is more like farmer's cheese or cottage cheese, but has no lumps and is very smooth. German cheesecake always uses Quark, but it is not like cream cheese either. You have to buy a pot and try it. Jonathan got this one at FAIRWAY MARKET OF 74TH STREET.
