June Almeida, Virus Detective!

There is a wonderful new picture book (paid link) about the woman who discovered the first human coronavirus in 1966.  I got it from the library today.  The girls had art class and I drove to the post office and to the library.  At the post office I ran into the retired economics professors.  We talked about frozen pipes 😀!  Our post office is truly the village's meeting point.  

Es gibt jetzt ein schickes englisches Bilderbuch über die Frau, die schon 1966 die ersten Coronaviren entdeckt hat.  Das habe ich heute bei der Bücherei abgeholt.  Die Mädchen hatten Kunst und ich war bei der Post und der Bücherei.  Bei der Post habe ich den pensionierten Wirtschaftsprofessor getroffen, mit dem ich über gefrorene Rohre geredet habe 😀!  Unsere Post ist wirklich der Dorftreffpunkt.
