Snow/Schnee

It is snowing again!

Es schneit wieder!

Peter took the girls to the ballet store up close to Buffalo to buy ballet slippers and pointe shoes.  You had to make an appointment so that no other customers were in the store.  Unfortunately, none of the pointe shoes fit and the store will have to order some.  Once they are in the store, we will need another appointment.  Only Flora got her ballet slippers.  

Peter ist mit den Mädchen zum Ballettladen in der Nähe von Buffalo gefahren, um Ballettschuhe zu kaufen.  Man mußte einen Termin haben, damit keine anderen Leute im Laden waren.  Leider paßten die Spitzenschuhe, die sie dort hatten, Miriam und Veronika nicht.  Jetzt bestellt der Laden andere und dann brauchen wir wieder einen Termin für eine neue Anprobe.  Nur Flora hat Ballettschuhe bekommen, weil sie ja noch keine Spitzenschuhe braucht.  

Jonathan got a hair cut while the girls and Peter were gone and I did some cleaning.  In the afternoon, we continued the cleaning and Peter had a Zoom meeting with one of our London honors classes, the one from 2004!  It was neat to see what everybody is doing now.  

Jonathan war beim Friseur, als die Mädchen und Peter weg waren, und ich habe geputzt.  Nachmittags haben wir alle geputzt, nur Peter hatte ein Zoom online Treffen mit den Studenten, die 2004 mit uns in London waren.  Es war interessant zu sehen, was so aus den einzelnen Leuten geworden ist.
