After their classes, I took a small detour and drove to Silver Lake with the girls.
Nach ihren Tanzklassen habe ich einen kleinen Abstecher mit den Mädchen gemacht und bin zum Silbersee gefahren.
You could see and hear the geese flying south.
Man konnte die Gänse hören und sehen, die jetzt in den Süden fliegen.
Those views are beautiful and a worthy reward for all that work :-)

DeleteIt's wonderful to hear the geese at this time of year. It's rare that I hear them here in the city, but we used to hear them every year out on Montauk when we made a September visit to my Mom and Dad.
ReplyDeleteI bet Montauk is a great stopping place for them! Flora drew the Montauk lighthouse a few weeks ago for her NYS studies. Have you ever visited it?
