Flora started reading the first book of the Boxcar Children on Monday and finished it today. This is super fast for her and she was very pleased with herself.
Flora hat am Montag den ersten Band einer bekannten amerikanischen Kinderbuchserie angefangen und heute zu Ende gelesen. Das war für sie sehr schnell und sie war ganz glücklich, wie gut sie gelesen hat.
How fun! I remember getting lost in books when her age, and not putting them down until the end. It always felt strange to come back to reality :)
ReplyDeleteI did too, but for her this is much harder to do. She loves stories and kind of lives in them, but the reading process is hard. Her reading is pretty good now, I think it is up to a third grade level, but the spelling is just very "creative."
