Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul/Hochfest der Apostel Petrus und Paulus

Today in church Father explained what was happening today in Rome for the Solmnenity of Sts. Peter and Paul.  He mentioned the bestowal of the pallium, the Delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and the two churches St. Peter's Basilica and St. Paul Outside the Walls. 

In the library, we signed up Jonathan and Charlotte for a free calligraphy class later this summer.  Back home we enjoyed the cooler breeze and worked hard on geography.

Heute hat der Pfarrer in der Kirche erzählt, was in Rom an diesem Feiertag passiert.  Er hat das Pallium erwähnt, die Delegation des Patriarchats von Konstantinopel und natürlich die beiden Kirchen Petersdom und St. Paul vor den Mauern. 

In der Bücherei haben wir Jonathan und Charlotte zu einer kostenlosen Kalligraphie Klasse angemeldet, die aber erst in einigen Wochen stattfindet.  Zu Hause haben wir uns über die kühleren Temperaturen gefreut und fleißig uns mit Erdkunde beschäftigt.
