Flora und ich lesen im Moment das zweite Buch in einer Serie über Schauspieler zur Zeit Shakespeares. Bevor sie dann zur Akademie gegangen ist, um an ihrer Schauspielklasse teilzunehmen, haben wir Kartenkunde betrieben.
Both Flora and Veronika are reading Julius Caesar right now. I love the Oxford School editions and that is what they have been using. Flora has a class about Julius Caesar on Thursday with CenterforLit.
Veronika had her French online class and Flora had another acting class, but that one was online.
Veronika hatte ihren Französischkurs online und Flora hatte noch eine Schauspielklasse, aber die war online.
Veronika signed up for the new SAT. You need to have a device that can be used to download the app Bluebook. Our college laptops cannot be used for that so we have been in contact with our local school to find a device for her. Veronika will be taking the test at the school and today they told us that she can borrow one of the school's laptops.
Veronika hat sich für den neuen SAT angemeldet. Der ist nicht mehr auf Papier, sondern im Computer. Dafür braucht man ein elektronisches Gerät, auf das man Bluebook laden kann. Das geht nicht bei unseren Collegelaptops und so haben wir unsere Schulbehörde gefragt, ob sie ein Gerät von ihnen ausleihen kann. Heute haben sie uns mitgeteilt, daß sie eins gefunden haben, und so kann Veronika in einem Monat früh um 8 Uhr in der Schule den Test machen.

Except for homeschooling and a quick drive to the library, I spent my day cleaning and ironing because we were gone last Saturday and we did not have a chance to do so. The girls are at ballet with Charlotte.
Außer Homeschooling und einem kurzen Ausflug zur Bücherei habe ich heute geputzt und gebügelt, weil wir das am Samstag wegen unseres Ausflugs nicht machen konnten. Die Mädchen sind gerade mit Charlotte beim Ballett.

ReplyDeleteHe is a funny cat and so curious! This will be Veronika's second SAT. She already took it in the fall with a good result, but she wanted to try the new version, the one that is online, to see what the difference is. She will take it in May in the school we report our grades to, but you have to sign up (and pay) a month in advance.
DeleteHappy Spring! We all spent today cleaning and clearing out drawers and closets. It's so funny to me to take an exam entirely on a computer when in school. Good luck to Veronika. When is she scheduled for? I remember when Morgana took her SAT. It was at a nice school in our old neighborhood in Brooklyn. Greg went with her. It was very early in the morning!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is impressive! I have to get back to my bookshelves. I am not finished, but right now we are always doing other things. Her SAT is in May. That will be her second one and she will not do one after that. She did well on the first, but wants to try the different format. She also took the CLT. I remember when Morgana took it. Ours are at "our" school (the one we report to) in the next village across from our church. And yes, I think the SAT always starts at 8:00 p.m.

DeleteI love seeing Leo in action . . ! :) I love the color and stripes of his fur. My aunt had a very similar cat when I was little. His name was Cocoa and I always wanted to have a cat just like him :P
