We had church in the evening and also baked soul cakes for tomorrow.

DeleteThere is a soul cake recipe in "Festivals Families and Food." That one is a good recipe, but I needed a fast one this year. I used this one this year. I omitted the ginger, used less cinnamon, and regular sugar in the raw.
Oh, I never made that one in "Festivals, Families and Food." I might have to try it. This one you made sounds very good.
