We lost power due to the storms last night, in fact, the students' musical performance had to perform in the dark with flashlights! We did not go because we were busy with other commitments, but they told us today all about it. The internet also was out for a while, longer than the power, but now things are working again. Only Peter's laptop died.
Letzte Nacht gab es einen Stromausfall, der wegen der Unwetter passiert ist. Die Studenten waren dabei ein Musical aufzuführen, doch als der Storm ausfiel, mußten sie im Dunkeln und mit Taschenlampen weiterspielen. Wir waren nicht bei der Vorführung, aber sie haben uns heute davon erzählt, als wir in der Mensa nach der Kirche gegessen haben. Das Internet funktionierte auch nicht, sogar länger als der Strom nicht, aber jetzt geht alles wieder. Nur Peters Laptop tut keinen Mucks mehr.

Hello Eva, it sounds like you had an intense storm! Sorry to hear about Peter's laptop. I hope you still had a peaceful Palm Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYes, very strange to have another storm! Peter lost everything that was on his desktop that was not backed up on the college's H-drive. They put his hard drive into a freezer (!) hoping to make the hard drive work, but it did not help. Church with real palms was nice, though.
