We have been working away on our U.S. state studies for a while now. Right now we are in Alabama. There is a cute picture book about Harper Lee and her growing up in Alabama.

Anybody in need of English grammar and studying German? This is the book I always recommend to my students.

Around 5:30 p.m. we left for ballet. I dropped off the girls and worked in the library until 7:30 p.m. We then drove home and stopped briefly at the college to print out a vocab quiz I need on Friday for my German students.
Gegen halb sechs sind wir dann zum Ballett gefahren und ich habe dort in der Bücherei bis um halb acht gearbeitet. Dann ging es wieder nach Hause und ich habe beim College angehalten, um einen Vokabeltest für Freitag auszudrucken.

It was 9:00 p.m. by the time we could eat supper.
Wir konnten erst um 9 Uhr Abendbrot essen.
Ah! You are in true fall school and ballet mode with last minute errands to print out important documents and dinner at 9 pm! :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteYes, so strange to still run around to get to lessons, although I only have to take two of my children. Our dinner time is too late right now, but most of those ballet classes are not over until 7:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. and then there is the driving . . .
