Today, I decided to reorganize and clean two shoe racks and also the bottom of the closet by the front door, which also contains shoes.
Heute habe ich zwei Schuhregale und den Boden des Gardrobenschranks bei der Eingangstür geputzt und wieder schön eingeräumt.
And in the afternoon, we used the oil on our bench. Now it needs to dry.
Und am Nachmittag haben wir die Bank neu eingeölt, die jetzt trocknen muß.
Peter's conference is finished. He gave a successful paper and got to see many people he has met before. This was the Charles Sealsfield Symposium.
Peters Konferenz (Charles Sealsfield Symposium) ist zu Ende. Er hat einen guten Vortrag gehalten und viele alte Freunde und Bekannte getroffen.
After the conference, he took a short walk through Dortmund.
Nach der Konferenz ist er kurz in Dortmund spazieren gegangen.

ReplyDeleteI am on a roll :). We have so many shoes nobody wears anymore! It is amazing and I don't know how that has happened. Peter was even elected to the board of the Sealsfield Society :). He is on his way back and has already arrived in Frankfurt. He will fly back to the U.S. tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteYes, he was hesitant to go because he had just returned from Texas and was fairly tired, but he did have a good time. I have never really visited Dortmund, only passing through by train.
