Crafts and Michaelmas Bread/Handarbeit und Michaeli Brot

There was a macrame workshop for students on campus today.  Because Veronika is enrolled in a Hebrew class, she could attend it and came back with a plant hanger and plant and a little key chain.  She said there were many students attending the workshop.

I turned my chicken bones into chicken stock.
Meine Hühnerknochen habe ich in Hühnerbrühe verwandelt.

And then it was time to bake our traditional harvest loaf for Michaelmas.

And here is Flora's current handwork project.  It is almost finished.  We are still working on a tree and a mouse.

  1. Thanks for the reminder to make some Michaelmas bread! Happy feast of the Angels today. Flora's handiwork is expertly created and delightful to look at. Veronika sounds like she had a lovely time and you now have a lovely hanging planter and a key chain xx

    1. We almost finished the mouse today. It takes longer than we had thought it would. Now we have to do the tree still.
