Früh am Morgen am Montag ging es von London Heathrow nach München.  

Early in the morning on Monday, we flew from London Heathrow to Munich.

Wir landen gleich in München.

We are soon landing in Munich.

Flora hat diese zwei Bücher in einem Laden im Flughafen gefunden und wollte, daß ich sie fotografiere, damit sie sich an die Bücher erinnern konnte.

Flora found these two books in a bookstore in the airport in Munich and asked me to take a picture of them because she wanted to remember them.

Zweiter Flug von München nach Bremen: Wir hatten Verspätung, weil der Pilot nicht wußte, ob das Flugzeug auch genug Benzin hatte!  Außerdem ging die Treppe am Flugzeug nicht ab und stärkere Männer mußten herbeigeholt werden, um mit anzupacken.  Aber dann stellte es sich heraus, daß das Flugzeug doch genug Benzin hatte und die Treppe wurde auch beseitigt.

Second flight from Munich to Bremen: We were delayed because the pilot did not know if the plane had enough gasoline or not!  In addition, the gangway had gotten stuck and they had to ask for strong men to remove it.  It turned out that we did have enough gasoline and the gangway was finally detached.

Angekommen im Norden: Wir besuchen Stellen, die wir gut kennen.

Arrival in the north: We are visiting places we know well.

Hier haben Peter und ich 1996 Hochzeit gefeiert.

Here, Peter and I had our wedding reception in 1996.

Peter und Flora sind mit dem Bus gefahren, um meine Mutter zu besuchen.  Wir anderen sind mit dem Auto gefahren.

Peter and Flora took the bus to visit my mother.  The rest of us traveled by car.

Hier wohnt meine Mutter: Sie sah so aus, als ob sie mich erkannt hätte und hat meine Hand gehalten.  💓

This is where my mother lives now: She looked like she recognized me and held my hand. 💓

Meine Studentin macht heute ihre Abschlußklausur und dann muß ich noch ein wenig korrigieren, bevor ich meine Note abgeben kann.

My German student is taking her final exam right now.  I will have to grade it and some of her other work before I can hand in my grade.
