My "baby" turned 14!
Meine Jüngste ist heute 14 geworden!

DeleteThese are the loveliest photos of Flora and I can't believe she's 14! Happy Birthday to you both. Her nails and hair (and dress!) are very pretty, but I wasn't as observant as San so I'm glad she pointed it out! Miriam's bag is so cute, and the fairy house accoutrements are very thoughtful.

Nobody thinks she is 14! She does not look that old. Even in England, people thought she was about 11. She is my fashionista! She has a knack for these things and reminds me of my maternal grandmother. Some women simply know how to dress elegantly without doing anything expensive or outlandish. Jonathan is so sweet when it comes to thinking about what his littlest sister might like. He is very observant. And Miriam just made that bag without any pattern. I was quite impressed. I think it was a bit hard for my father to give that dress away. He bought it for my mother not that long ago . . . But I also think he is happy that it is being worn again.
DeleteYes, such good talents to have for all of them (and no one ever thought I looked my age and would always tell me so . . I enjoy that much more now lol). Yes, it is not so easy for your dad, so nice that Veronika can wear it, but also much sadness with that too. I'm glad you had a good visit together when in Germany and created some loving memories.
DeleteOh, I had the same when I was younger. Some old teacher of my brother's thought I was 10 when I was already at the university! My father was always the one who picked out clothes for my mother. So seeing a particular dress on a different person, but be hard. I think it was good my father had us with him for a while. After all, he is all on his own in this huge house!
