Peter and I have been feeling pretty bad after our second vaccination. We spent a lot of time in bed today, just getting up to attend to Easter preparations. I had wisely put together a casserole a few days ago, in case I was not feeling well enough to cook, and that casserole made things much easier today. Jonathan and Charlotte were able to come home because their colleges had changed their Easter regulations and had allowed students to go home. Right before lunch, we went to Confession to be well prepared for Easter.
Peter und ich fühlen uns seit unserer zweiten Impfung ziemlich "grippig" und waren heute viel im Bett. Wir sind nur aufgestanden, um Dinge für Ostern vorzubereiten. Ich hatte schon vor ein paar Tagen einen Auflauf für heute zusammengestellt, falls ich mich nicht gut genug fühlen würde, um zu kochen, und dieser Auflauf war eine große Hilfe. Jonathan und Charlotte durften auch nach Hause kommen, weil ihre Colleges die Regeln für das Osterwochenende gelockert haben. Vor dem Mittagessen sind wir zur Beichte gegangen, um für Ostern ganz vorbereitet zu sein.

Flora has to take care of a new dog. Cooper's owners have a week off (they are teachers) and thus she does not have to walk Cooper in the mornings right now. However, our neighbor went on vacation over Easter and Flora is taking care of Hadley, her dog.
Flora hat einen neuen Hund, um den sie sich kümmern muß. Die Eigentümer von Cooper sind eine Woche zu Hause (sie sind Lehrer und haben Ferien), aber unsere Nachbarin ist in Urlaub gefahren und Flora kümmert sich um ihren Hund Hadley.
At 8:00 p.m., we had our Easter vigil.

ReplyDeleteWe are feeling a bit better today, but still very tired and I had a low fever again. We managed to have a wonderful Easter, though, and even took a short walk. Jonathan had to leave after lunch, but Charlotte is still here.
