Unpacking and Julius Caesar/Auspacken und Julius Caesar

Jonathan came back home and emptied the contents of his dorm room onto our living-room floor.  We had finally put away all things from the London suitcases, but now we have to find room for all of Jonathan's things.  But not only here at home are things that need to find a new home, also on campus almost every professor has to move office because of a huge renovation project in our building.  I had to move up to the third floor and am now close to Peter's office.  He has to move into a different office on his own floor.  This morning, some colleagues of mine and I went through all the books in our foreign language library to determine what we want to keep and what we want to discard.  That library/seminar room is also moving to a different room in our building.  I am starting to feel like I am working for a moving company these days.

Jonathan ist wieder zu Hause und hat den Inhalt seines Studentenwohnheimzimmers auf dem Wohnzimmerfußboden ausgebreitet.  Wir hatten endlich alle Dinge aus London weggeräumt, doch jetzt müssen wir Platz für Jonathans Sachen finden, zumindest bis zum Herbst, wenn er alle Dinge wieder mit zum College nimmt.  Aber nicht nur hier zu Hause müssen wir alles aus- und wegräumen, nein auch das College hat große Umzugsarbeiten angesagt.  Fast alle Professoren in unserem Gebäude müssen in ein anderes Büro ziehen, weil das Gebäude umgebaut wird.  Ich bin vom ersten zum zweiten Stock gezogen und habe mein neues Büro auf Peters Etage.  Peter muß in ein anderes Zimmer auf seiner Etage ziehen.  Heute morgen habe ich mit Kollegen die fremdsprachliche Bibliothek in einem Seminarraum durchgesehen und entschieden, was wir behalten wollen und was wir wegwerfen.  Auch der Inhalt dieses Raumes muß auf eine andere Etage gebracht werden.  Ich komme mir inzwischen vor, als ob ich für ein Umzugsunternehmen arbeiten würde.    

While Jonathan and I went through some of his paper piles he brought back from college, Miriam and Veronika watched the beginning of Julius Caesar.  They both read the play while we were in London.

Während Jonathan und ich angefangen haben, durch seine Papierberge zu gehen, die er mitgebracht hat, haben Miriam und Veronika den Anfang des Filmes Julius Caesar geschaut.  Beide Mädchen haben das Original von Shakespeare in London gelesen.
