Während Flora beim Ballett war, war ich mit Veronika und Miriam im Gewächshaus des Colleges, wo wir Naturkunde gemacht haben. Wir haben uns die Pflanzen und Fische genauer angesehen und dann hat jedes Mädchen sich eine Pflanze ausgesucht, die es dann in sein Naturkundebuch gemalt hat. Während des Malens habe ich deutsche Aufsätze meiner Studenten korrigiert.
Flora was allowed to take home her costume she will wear for the spring recital. She thought it was very pretty.
Flora durfte ihr Kostüm für die Frühjahrsballettaufführung mit nach Hause nehmen. Sie findet es sehr hübsch.
The greenhouse is so nice! And please tell Flora that she looks very pretty in her costume :) It must be so fun to wear.
ReplyDeleteI will let her know. She has some hair pieces that go with the dress, but we are not sure how to put them on. Two have huge elastics attached to them . . . One is supposed to go next to the bun, I think.

The sun is shining, but it feels too cold here. I had to put the heater on . . ! I think i'm very ready for warm weather . . but not too warm!
ReplyDeleteI think we have had only a couple of days this year when the heat did not go on. It is on right now (it has an automatic setting).
DeleteThe greenhouses remind me of those at Myerscough College, Sara and Tom's Alma Mater. Flora looks lovely in her Spring recital dress X
ReplyDeleteIt is a rather small one, but has tables and chairs so you can sit among those exotic plants. That is really nice.
