Primary Election in NY/Vorwahlen in New York
Today primary elections are held in NY. This is Jonathan's first time he is allowed to vote. The fire hall, our local polling place, does not open until 12:00 p.m. and closes at 9:00 pm. Jonathan will meet Peter there shortly before lunch to vote. He will be following the outcome of this election closely and has also discussed the voting process in his American Politics class at our college during class time. Quite exciting for him!
Heute sind hier in New York State Vorwahlen.

Yes, it was our friend Deychen's first time voting also! She really enjoyed going to the polling place . . and Morgana voted with an absentee ballot. She mailed it from Paris about two weeks ago . . :) So exciting for all of them!! We're listening to the radio now . .
ReplyDeleteGood for Morgana! Jonathan's political science professor (the one that looks like your brother-in-law), came to the polls right after Jonathan had done his duty.
DeleteIn order that clarity may be preserved: following voting results is exciting. Voting for the first time is not as exciting. It's merely something that must be done.
