Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Eva and family!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Christine. I hope you also had a good time and blessings to all of you.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving! Your celebration looks beautiful and peaceful! Blessings, Barbara
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Barbara, and thank you for the wonderful old-fashioned thanksgiving card. So sweet!!
DeleteHappy thanksgiving! Your celebration looks just right! There is a house in our next road that had its Christmas decorations up last week, I bet they will be taken down on the 26 :-(
ReplyDeleteThanks, San, that sounds so much like what most Americans do. I do it the German way, I do like to keep advent and Christmas apart.
DeleteHappy late thanksgiving Eva to you and your family.
DeleteI'm wondering, do you take off lessons during Advent? We did several years ago when our children were younger. But this year I have lessons planned for the first two weeks of Advent. Then off the last two weeks of Advent to finish Christmas preparations. But now that Advent is upon us, I'm reconsidering. Thoughts?
ReplyDeleteThanks and Advent blessings,
Barbara
We do, but not the first two weeks. We normally do less work, it happens automatically with all the Christmas preparations and social events, but I try to do some work. The college is also in session for about two more weeks which makes it easier to maintain at least a resemblance of a schedule. You could do just school in the mornings and Advent/Christmas related things in the afternoons. When my children were smaller, I sometimes also took off more time, but now, with high school, that is not possible anymore.
DeleteHello Eva, Happy Thanksgiving and Happy First Sunday of Advent! Your day looks wonderful. What a lovely meal and after dinner walk. I have some more pictures I will try and post tonight too. The holiday season is upon us. It's such a special time. We send all of you much love :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Dorina. I will look forward to your pictures. Christmas will be here soon, I know. The girls are really excited, which is fun to watch. Veronika picked an advent bouquet today. That was so sweet.
