Peanut Butter Stew/Erdnußbuttertopf

Jonathan's main lesson project today was cooking an authentic African meal.  We chose African Peanut Butter Stew with white rice and a green tossed salad.  Our beverage was hot peppermint tea.  It was very good and something different.  

Jonathans Projekt für seine Hauptepoche war die Zubereitung eines afrikanischen Mittagessens.  Es gab afrikanischen Erdnußbuttertopf mit weißem Reis und einem grünen Salat.  Dazu haben wir heißen Pfefferminztee getrunken.  Es hat gut geschmeckt und war mal was anderes.

  1. it looks delicious! i like adding banana . . and pineapple? mango? we had this just last week! the cookbook looks interesting also. it looks like a nice series.

    1. We added orange, banana, and coconut. We reduced the amount of cayenne pepper to a pinch, though. I don't like hot food. We are also hoping to make some grilled plantain, but we haven't found any plantains in the stores yet!
