Während wir an einem Vogelzählwochenende teilgenommen haben, ist mein Fotoapparat kaputt gegangen. Das bedeutet wohl eine Blogpause oder Einträge ohne Fotos. Ich habe noch einige Fotos von den Vögeln, die wir heute gesehen haben, weil meine Speicherkarte keinen Schaden gelitten hat.
Oh no! If the girls have smart phones you could use one of those for picture taking. Is the camera fixable? I hope you manage to keep up with the blog as I love reading about your days xx
ReplyDeleteYes, they do have smart phones and so do I, but their phones are very simple and do not take good pictures. My phone is an honors program phone and is not really mine and is also very simple. I am afraid, the camera is not really fixable. I looked online and tried all suggestions (the lens is not moving properly anymore and the camera has stopped taking pictures). It is quite old by now. It is a Canon Power Shot with a 30x zoom (SX 710 HS). My parents bought it for me after my previous Canon Power Shot had died. I liked it because it is compact enough to fit into my purse, but also takes good pictures and has a good zoom. I looked online to find a shop that might repair it here in London, but all advice I got was that it was too old to be fixed. Veronika brought her really old Canon camera to London along. It is super slow, but I used it on Sunday. I think I have to use that for now. I looked online for a replacement for my Canon Power Shot, but it looks like this kind of camera (same size and zoom) is not being made right now. Either the cameras are much simpler or much fancier and bigger (and more expensive). Neither of those categories is appealing to me.
