We celebrated Mass at Magdalen with the professors and students.

Then we had to pack Miriam's things and say many good-byes to students and professors.

Around 5 p.m., we approached Boston.

You cannot simply park on campus, but have to get a parking permit in a parking garage online before you arrive.
Man kann nicht einfach auf dem Campus parken, sondern man muß vorher einen Parkschein beantragen, um dann in einem Parkhaus parken zu dürfen.
Anscheinend ist hier die Computertomographie entdeckt worden.

Wir sind lange gefahren, bis wir wieder zu Hause waren: Es war kurz nach 2 Uhr morgens, als wir angekommen sind. Wir erholen uns immer noch und versuchen, einen Platz für die Sachen von Jonathan und Miriam zu finden.
Mal wieder tolle Bilder. Und mein Mann nennt das Packen immer "Tetris spielen". ;)

ReplyDeleteI am trying, but on Monday, we first had to return the rental car, then we had to drive to pick up Leo (both are trips in different directions of 45 minutes each way), and then I drove the girls to ballet and back. Today was a trip up to Buffalo which is also very far. Tomorrow and Friday is ballet. Saturday, Jonathan will leave already for his summer job in NYC and we have to drive him to the rental car place. It never seems to stop.

DeleteThanks so much, San. Right now I am doing tons of laundry and am trying to get things organized so Jonathan can leave on Saturday. At least the living-room floor is more or less clear again. But upstairs looks horrible!

DeleteThanks so much, San. I am pretty sure they helped because I put away most things and did a lot of laundry. Jonathan arrived safely in NYC. Now we can concentrate on finishing the school year strong, doing house and garden projects, have a good ballet recital in a few weeks, and make decisions about Miriam's future. Hopefully we can also catch up on sleep.

Oh my! How did you fit in the car? It as very nice to see the campus and your mother's day gifts were pretty even if you had to celebrate at a rest stop! (Is that a book mark next to the tray?)
ReplyDeleteNobody was allowed to move or breathe :). It somehow worked, but it was a tight fit. Yes, it is a wooden bookmark :).
