Gestern waren wir im Glasmuseum in Corning. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal da, doch es gibt so viel zu sehen, daß man mehrmals hingehen muß, um alles zu sehen. Viel Spaß mit den Fotos, die wir gemacht haben!

So beautiful! I visited several times with my parents when growing up. They loved to visit. We've also seen Chihuly's work here in the New York Botanic Garden . . They must wrap it so carefully for traveling!
ReplyDeleteI think they added something to the museum since the last time we went. Some of the more contemporary pieces are housed in the front in a part of the building I did not recognize. I have no idea how those Chihuly pieces can travel! I would not want to be responsible for the transport. I think the museum is wonderful for all ages; no wonder your parents used to go. I remember a glass museum in Sweden I went to with my parents and siblings. It was Kosta Boda glass. It was wonderful!
