End of Summer Camp/Ende des Ferienlagers

Today was parents' day at the museum.  We visited both Veronika and Flora and also walked around in spite of the heat and thunderstorms.

Heute war im Museum Elterntag.  Wir haben sowohl Veronika als auch Flora besucht und sind auch herumspaziert (trotz Hitze und Gewittern).

The oxen were right across from it.

Die Ochsen waren gegenüber.

We visited the turkeys.

Wir haben die Truthähne besucht.

Hungry sheep, but some camp children came to feed them.

Hungrige Schafe, die dann von Kindern gefüttert wurden.

The elderberry bush is looking great!

This plant had interesting flowers and fruits: They both had the same color.

Diese Pflanze hatte interessante Blüten und Früchte: Beide hatten die gleiche Farbe.

Flora had her camp at the inn.

Floras Gruppe war im alten Gasthof.

It got really hot and so we walked over to the gallery to look at a wedding exhibition.

Als es dann ganz heiß wurde, haben wir uns eine Hochzeitsausstellung angeschaut.  Die war in der Galerie.

A little bit later, we saw this bat on a tent.

Ein bißchen später haben wir diese Fledermaus auf einem Zelt gesehen.

And then it was time to see what Flora's group had prepared.

Und dann war der Zeitpunkt gekommen, wo wir anschauen sollten, was Floras Gruppe vorbereitet hatte.

It all looked really good!

Alles sah sehr lecker aus!

And then it was time to clean up: Veronika and Charlotte helped.

Und dann mußte mit Veronikas und Charlottes Hilfe aufgeräumt werden.

Veronika not only worked with her group, but also helped out with the group that practiced old dances.

Veronika hat nicht nur bei einer Gruppe geholfen, sondern auch bei dieser Gruppe, die alte Tänze eingeübt hat.
