This afternoon, we went to a nearby park to feed the ducks. We had watched a German video on duck feet in the morning and this was perfect way to have some real life examples. And our read-aloud is no other book than The Hobbit.
Heute nachmittag waren wir in einem Park in der Nähe, um die Enten zu füttern. Heute morgen haben wir ein deutsches Video über Entenfüße gesehen und so konnten wir die Füße auch in der Natur studieren. Unser neues Vorlesebuch ist Der Hobbit.

We took frozen peas along to feed the ducks because you are not supposed to give them bread here.
Wir haben gefrorene Erbsen mitgenommen, weil man die Enten hier nicht mit Brot füttern darf.

That was a cute duck movie. Amazing videography. It's nice to see the different ducks and geese. I always enjoy seeing the Greylag Goose :) It's such a pretty park.
ReplyDeleteI love those videos for children. We use them a lot. Those Greylag Geese are the most common ones here in Europe (and the white ones). It is a small park, but pretty.
